My own E mission Statement

Here is a tip for emission tests I live in MD and this is the second time in a row i have been given a 2 year waiver because my car rides to low to pull in the garage. So if you have adjustable coilovers and your not sure if your gonna pass slam your car and you'll never take the test.

Never heard of any of those kind of restrictions....are there actually any states where your ride can't be at a certain height?

I know here your truck tires can't be any bigger than 50"...some guy is selling an '04 F250 with 48" tires and a lift I could walk under (I'm 6'0'')

youre full of shit...fag. you think we are stupid huh. if they see your car too low to be tested in their emission dyno machine, theyll still check your emission on two speed mode. emissiion is tested at 2500 rpm and at idle speed without being in the garage. just like full time 4 wheel drive cars and motor homes, they cant be tested inside their garage. get your shit straight..fag.

Re: My own E mission Statement

Not sure where you are at but in California, the center of the headlight can't be any lower than 22 inches from the ground (or was it 24? Something like that). My car was too low to go into the dyno and they just turned me away. Over here emissions are tested at idle and underload at 15mph and 25mph so the trick wouldn't work here. If it works were you live, man you are lucky!! I'd do it too!!

Re: My own E mission Statement

ya, MA has height restrictions.... i had a lowered car and it wouldnt fit on the dyno, so they slapped on a Fat "R" on my car and told me to come back within 2 months.

Re: My own E mission Statement

Anyone know the requirements for Tx (ride height)? I tried to get my car inspected when I bought it, but the right corner light bracket was busted, so it just popped out. They wouldn't pass it. This was before I put my coilovers on. Hope it doesn't cause any problems. If so, measure, increase height, inspect, drop height
