Interior Light Sensor
Does anyone know anything about the interior light sensors in the doors of a 95 Blazer? I am assuming they are in the door latches because there is nothing in the jamb. I need to replace them because my security system runs through them and they stopped working this winter. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Interior Light Sensor
So... are your interior lights always on? off?
Have you checked the wiring to your dimmer switch? fuses?

Re: Interior Light Sensor
There is a switch in each front door handle, a switch on the side of the dash on each side, one in each rear door jamb and one on the tail gate at the lift glass.

Re: Interior Light Sensor
Let me clarify my question:
Originally the interior lights would come on when a door handle was lifted (even if the door was locked just lifting the handle would turn them on setting off the alarm). What I would like is to replace whatever it is in the door that is responsible for that. I am wondering if anyone else has done this an if so what is involved in it. |
