sound
ok so i have a 04 dbl cab and the bass from the speakers suck pretty bad. wich move will be better? replacing the speakers all around or the stereo? in other words is it the stereo that gives the crapy bass or the speakers? i just dont want a sub because then ill want the eq,top $$$ stereo,top $$$ amp,ect. and i like the factory stereo beause of the orange illumination so im trying to avoid thar replacement but ill take it out if thats the problem.thanks

It's both, if you want better base get an amplified bazooka on ebay their not to expensive $120 and up. Tacoma speakers are paper, 20w per max. The Tacoma stereo is about as plain jane as it gets so no base boost to put the base in audible range. Do the research try cardomain.com the site will educate you on what to look for in stereo equipment, like the difference between RMS wattage and Max wattage there is a big difference. I highly recomend Hifonics amps they fit under the tacoma seat and pack a hell of a punch, You will have to look at speakers yourself but if you don't want a sub try polk 5x7's

so can someone tell me what size fits im looking at the infinity kappa perfect 6.1 component system its got 6 1/2 speakers and 1" tweeters but will tis fit if not what will i want to replace everything

Toyota used mostly 5"x7" but some trucks have 6"
