98 pathfinder tires

would i be able to fit 31x 12.50 tires on my 98 pathfinder with proper backspacin;if so what is the backspacing?

backspacing is a feature of the wheel, not the tire, it means how far the lug face of the wheel is from the center of the wheel and in general affects how fire the wheel and tire stick out the sides of the car.
