1992 Buick Riveria Shutter No Power
Just got all new plug and wires and the car still does not have the power that it should.
The car will shutter around highway speed and shake violently when more power is required. Hills, acceleration, etc. The problem is the worst in overdrive but still very noticeable when you shift down to drive. Thanks in advance for any suggestions Timothy |

When I first read your post, the first thing that came to mind was that when mine needs the tires balanced and I've been driving highway speed, when I go to slow down say around 60-50 mphs it'll do that. But not any other time. |

It also sounds like your timing chain and gear is about go. How many miles on the car? Mine had 125K when it went. It took out the push rods at first. After repairing it, a few months later, the cam fell apart and destroyed the whole engine. I was told later that when the push rods bent, it probably cracked the cam in several places and as time went by, it fell apart. |
