Ebay is addictive

Hey guys, Man this ebay stuff is really getting addictive. the wife is going to kill me if I keep going at this rate. Ijust picked me up a couple more kits (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1) and that is after I picked up my enzo and a 67 GT500 kit last week...

Re: Ebay is addictive

To counter-act the aggressive wife why don't you sell stuff? Seriously, have a look round your house for things to sell, you won't believe what people buy from ebay!!! Old DVD's you don't watch anymore, old coats, CD's you don't listen to anymore, Pots & pans, y-fronts! The list is endless & any you sell will pay for your kit's & not come from your wages

eBay can be addictive. I've brought a good number of kits (in fact nearly all my kits) from eBay.

Spent around £200 in the past three months for eBay kits, but I don't have a wife or girl at the moment, so all my income is either for bills or for me.... I tend to get addicted easily and spend huge amounts of money at first, after about six months it starts to dwindle down..!!

But I've got lots of kits, and two pretty nicely completed models..!! So addiction is OK for me, as I can see the reward with each newly completed kit..

Ive tried selling stuff on ebay before but everytime I find something the wife tells me no she needs it. I mean come on now since my wife makes enuff to cover the bills plus some leftover, my check is extra for spending right guys (need some help here wooo hooo lol)... But on the good side I did get me an enzo the yellow version, a photo etched set for it, a 67 shelby gt500, and the 2 kits above plus I picked u some styrene sheets and some tenax off of ebay in the past week. I guess thats not to bad...

Re: Ebay is addictive

For every £40 you spend on ebay, spend £5 on flowers for your wife!!! Should keep her sweet!

Yeah, Damn Ebay. I've got an account that I've ordered nothing but 1/24 V8 Ferraris with- four of them at last count. I'm hoping to top it off with a 288 GTO. Fortunately, I'm patient. I don't mean to be that consistent (or to go on Ebay at all, really!), but I look, and suddenly(!), there's a V8 Ferrari that I gotta have. I think it's a sickness.

Sooner or later, I'm going to have to BUILD a V8 Ferrari!

Re: Ebay is addictive

That camaro is a nice kit. I have also built a GT500, not sure if it was a 67 or not, but it was a fun build. When I need a model, I just get my mom to buy it discounted from hobby lobby since she work there.
