Body customs
i have a 97 4X4 4dr blazer ls. in the fall, i am thinking about adding a small lift to it .. 2" to 4", to maybe give it the look and style of a ZR2. what would i need to do to go about doing this. to have it done at a shop or something how much would it cost compared to buying new shocks or suspension [or whatever needed] and doing it myself. thanks ----

Re: Body customs
The only suspension lift you want is the trailmaster 5". It's the only one that keeps the stock geometry. With the others you will blow CV joints and ball joints at regular intervals due to the steep angles the 2 and 3" lifts give. If you don't want to spend the money for that, go with a body lift (about 150 bux) which will give you more wheel clearence. For the zr2 look, you might also want to consider some Bushwhacker fender flares.

Re: Body customs
The trailmaster will lift you 5" with taller suspension (it lifts everything up). A body lift will get you 2" with blocks (it lifts your body/cab/bed up but leaves the frame in the stock position). I would just go with the body lift because you can run bigger tires.
