If I dissappear for a LONG time don't worry too much. I am most definitely joining the ARMY. I am going Thursday to the ROTC to get the paper work. I will let you know when(if) I am going to ship out.

Congrats. You are about to embark on one of the best journeys you will ever take in your lifetime.
Joining the Military was one of the best things I have ever done in my life. You will do things that no one else will ever do, and you will be a much better person, in mind, body, and spirit after you have completed your service, if you choose to leave.

I hope you find what you are looking for in the army. A few friends of mine joined the navy 9 years ago, right out of high school (still kicking myself for not joining too!) and they have got benefits out the wazoo when they get out. Not to mention all the places they have been to and stories to tell.
Just remember every first and last word out of your filthy stink-hole will be "YES DRILL SARGENT!" good luck.

And please remember these two tips: 1) Set up the claymore with the part that says, "This side towards enemy" AWAY from you. 2) The little shack with the chemical bomb in it isn't bad, just follow instructions, stay cool, and be ready for the snot upon exit.

Just hope they don't nickname you Gomer and beat you wiht soap. If they DO though... well... you know what to do.
