Need some genius over here!

Ok. So I'm completely new to the forum but heres the deal. I'm a former ZX2 owner and I'm getting tired of dealing with little cars. I'm seriouspy thinking about buying an 05GT Mustang but the price tag is making me think twice. I'm more than interested in the potential of a Tib but I'm wondering what it would take to get it running at about 12 seconds or less. What kind of money and is this tiny car going to blow up under all the pressure. I know a Stang would be more expensive to race but they also seem to be better built to handle it. Anybody got a Tib that runs those kind of times and can say that it still runs? Help is appreciated.

to get the 03+ tib to 12 seconds.. youll need a decent amount of work (and money to it)

theres plenty of options to go about this, but since our community is so small (compared to say a mustang, some important stuff is extremely expensive sometimes:
like, short/ long built blocks from nxtgenerationmotorsports, plus his s/c and turbo kits... dont get me wrong his work, and quality of his kits are amazing, jus expensive at times...

same with ripp mods' s/c kit.. its about 4grand for stage 1 sds, but gives you an unrivailed upgrade in horse power

we are hoping this coming spring we see more low 13s and some possible 12s, and some scatter 11s, and possibly a 10

Like nisco said, you need money. The Ripp SDS is worth the price though.
