Keyless entry code
Is there a way to determine the keyless entry code on an 2002 Silverado Z71 without the remotes?
Thanks. CGM |

Re: Keyless entry code
Also, you can pick up replacements on Ebay for ~$15 each. The dealer charges ~$60 each.

Re: Keyless entry code
Each fob had it's own signature. I did it once and can't find it now but I believe you turn the key on/off three times and then a specific key (lock/unlock on the door, can't remember if that was it) and then you touch the open and close on all the fobs you will be using, each one in succesion. The computer will time out and only the fobs used in that session will work as now the computer will only recveive from those fobs. Some dealers try to charge you but it only takes 2 minutes and no tools.
I will try to find the papers I have. Good luck.
