NGSM13's Custom Designed Boxes

Sitcky maybe?!?! If not, no biggie!
As title sates...
I design custom ported boxes, usually mostly rectangular...but I do other odd shaped polygonal prisms.

Here's some build pics of one such odd-shaped box built using my plans!

Built by caraudio.com memeber Gregory.
I have plenty of references from here AND www.caraudio.com

Basic designs start out at $10 for ported, and MAY increase slightly for more complicated designs. The most EVER for any plan would be $25. Prices include all specs of the box, an exact cut-sheet listing exact size of all pieces needed to construct the box, as well as a sketch. Your money also buys you ALL the questions you can ask about your plan, so feel free to AIM: ngbd13
or PM me here if you have questions about your plan!
Thanks for looking!

NG

Re: NGSM13's Custom Designed Boxes

Hrrm sounds good, but when I get a Sub and amp later this sumer/year theres a guy who makes a custom box that fits in an unsued space in the 3000GT trunk so that it only portrudes 1/2 inch into the stock space!

Do you have any examples of the work you do? Do you use CAD or drafting table lol? And how much does this other guy who builds stuff charge? Just to satsify my quirocity and to get some obvious questions others may ask out of the way.

I do the plans for people who would like to build a box themselves. I also build custom boxes for anyone who wishes, but shipping would have to be covered ENTIRELY by them. The example in the above post is just an example of the irregularity of the design, and how my designs turn out. The box in the above post is the guy's FIRST box he ever built...again just an example.

First Competition Box, 6 cubes NET @39hz:

Box I did for a punk at my school while ago:

Competition box I did for myself, 7.2 cubes NET @43hz w/ 160 in^2 of port. Double baffled on all sides (1.5" thick), Competition SPL box only! Two 12" Stereo Integrity Magnum d2's

Downfiring box for my dorm audio system, 3 cubes NET @22hz housing one SoundSplinter rl-i 12

I do paint or carpet as well...but for my self...I don't feel the need to

Here is a box Stang designed for me, I did the build. This sub hits so damn hard. It has managed to vibrate and shake everything loose that can rattle loose. I'm going to upgrade to some 2 gauge power wire and a lot of second skin.

Re: NGSM13's Custom Designed Boxes

Too bad most glassed boxes sound like ASS b/c the person installing it knows nothing about acoustics and just makes a whatever sized sealed box that may or may not fit the needs of the driver. I think fiberglass looks too flashy for most vehicles anyways.
