r34 Skyline- Nismo z-tuned

For my next build is this Aoshima kit, mostly box stock with exception of the cf hood and rims (from the tamiya r34), pretty poor fit for the rear bumper i have to say. And the front is all that impressive either. But the interior is nice and was built with ease.

hood+2 hours+lots of microsol+LOTS OF PATIENCE=pretty decent

The interior, painted in one day and built in another

nothing special realy except the detail masters eq between the cd player on the dash console and sms texture paint in the rear shelf and floor

one coat of ts-17 (no polish or clear)

well since i was inspired to build it by skyline fan's version of the same car. I will paint the exterior in the same fashion (i.e. aluminum with black rims and a little smoke over the hood)

Hey,

Are you going to sculpt the dront fenders infront of the doors? Like the arch/wing shape deal? Keep up the awsome progress!

That CF hood is beautiful. Great work!
A question on your interior. Do the guages come that way or was that something you photo reduced and applied yourself? Interior is fantastic too!

the gauges came with the kit as a decal. I always just cut it out and then cut a template out of clear sytrene for the glass part of the bezel Then glue the 2 to the dash (so i don't wet the decal...sometimes i do this with photopaper if not supplied w/ the kit)

Re: r34 Skyline- Nismo z-tuned

Hey,

It looked to me that you were building this car. http://sportcompactcarweb.com/featur...5_scc_skyline/

...and I was wondering if you were going to try to replicate these fenders. Sorry for any confusion.

Good luck.

Frank X.
