Re: looking for aftermarket body prod.

Good point. Ur going to pay around $1500 for bodykit plus labor when u could be buying some pulleys($300), flywheel($325), intake($200), header($300) and exhaust($500) for about the same price. Only thing is that the bodykit wont give you an extra 40 HP.

Lay off him, let him do a he pleases. If he is into looking good and such thats his choice. And he never said he knew nothing about performance or wanted it, you are making assumptions without getting any sort of info at all.

Teebone, what are you wanting to know about them. Are you looking for specific sites or How to's or something else.

www.raretrick.com has just about everything performance and exterior

Re: looking for aftermarket body prod.

good points good points, he could already have a 300 hp setup, and is ready for body mods now. Dont be so quick to snap on folks that are new to the forums, we dont know wtf they have. Anyways jdizzy and monoxide gave some good sites. Try these also

You basically told him his choice to look nice was worthless then insulted him by saying his preference was ricey. If thats nice than wow. No I don't care to hear your mean response, how about a helpful one tho.

Re: looking for aftermarket body prod.

and body mods arnt ricey are they??? ill have to ask RW so i dont "join" the bandwagon, cuz i dont like doing that apparently. The way i see it, im joining the ever so young ka bandwagon, but what ever gets his g-string out of his hairy crack suits me fine. THats why iv just realized i hate 240's cuz there a bandwagon car now. So i have 2 of them for sale if anyones interested.

Re: looking for aftermarket body prod.

im not even going to say my opinion on body mods, apperentaly they are a good choice to spend money on. And i dont give a shit if he spends his money how he wants, arent you going to try and stop someone who is lighting 20$ bills on fire? What do body kits accomplish? If you want a better "look", add a lip or something besides an extra 200lbs.

Re: looking for aftermarket body prod.

not all kits add 200 lbs. I mean think of jgtc...they still ADD the widebody, even though its carbon fiber/ fiber glass...they still ADD it. All in all who the hell cares. Some kits look clean and nice to me...but i am on the same page as you, do a little bit of performance before body mods. But hey maybe he just wants a nice looking 240 and isnt in to tuning that much. Id rather see a nice looking clean 240 with no other mods than some kid with a totally riced out 240.
