E34 5 series hubs on E30 3 series, Can I do it

I havent looked at it yet, so just asking if anyone knows that it can be done and what is needed.

thing is I bought an E30 325i for £50 of a mate, it needs a new engine and drivers door and front wing painting.. I have an E34 525i as a doner car, I have taken the engine out ready to go in the 325 but I want the wheels of the 5 series on the 3 series, however as you prob know the 5 series is 5 stud and the 3 is 4 stud.

question is can I convert the 3 series to 5 stud using the parts of the 5 series????

I really want these wheels on the 3 series as they are schnitzer style 5 spoke with a 2 inch polished dish!!!!!

Thanks Leonard, i've heard of it before on other cars, however I want to know if I can do it with the parts I've got, using the E34 5 series as a donor car.

Ok then here it is. 3 series are compact cars and 5 are midd size parts differ load limits and sizes. If i were you I would put my self throu that maddnes and spend less than $200 for hub adapters.

You can try but if the parts don't fit. that was a waste of your time.
and you have to put it all back together.

Yep you are right, thats why I thought I'd look on here first to see if anyone has done it or knows that it can be done before I start!!

On the other side of things if I buy a part to convert and find that I could have easily used the parts I already have, then I would be annoyed aswell!!
