Tsudo Exhaust

I've had my new Tsudo FIREBALL exhaust and 4-1 header for about a month just sitting the box. Well I just installed them this weekend. The exhaust came with the silencer installed.I was just wondering if there is a certain way to pull it out. I tried just pulling on it with some pliers but it just won't budge. Thanks for your help.

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

It more than liekyl screws in, try to unscrew it or look for some kind of locking screw/bolt.

the header performs pretty good..I got the header on ebay for 120.00. it was kind of a pain to install but i had it on a lift so i guess that made it easier. I had to unbolt the slave cylinder, removed the fan and even moved the a/c compressor a little. I say it was a pain but in reality it wasn't too hard. The complete install of header and exhaust took about 1 1/2 hours to do. I expected the bolts to be real hard to take off but using penetrating lubricant spray and air tools really helps alot.

I tried putting a screw driver in there as well but still won't budge. The silencer is really pissing me off. Will it make a big difference in sound or performance if I can ever get it off?

it will make a difference in sound and performance. The sound will be louder and performance wise, u will have better air flow because there will no longer be anything holding the air in from flowing freely.
Would anyone happen to have a soundclip or know where to hear a soundclip of the tsudo exhaust?

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

its a pain
so do what i did, you know the floor jacks like the 2 ton sliding ones. they come with the bar that has the little stick at the end.stick that end in the exhaust and pully it out.believe before i did this it was a nightmare.

yeah i tried that stick thing from my floor jack, but still didn't work. Do you guy know if there is a removal tool or if I took it to a muffler shop, that they can remove it?

I just recieved an e-mail from the guy I bought the exhaust from on ebay. He told me to put 91 octane fuel around the tip and then pull it out. He said wd40 won't work. Don't you guys think if I put fuel around the tip and if I still can't pull it out, that the fuel would ignite. I know it won't stay for long but isn't it dangerous?

Re: Tsudo Exhaust

That has to be the single dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Do NOT put gas on the muffler, it should come out without any kind of lubricant, if wd40 does not do it then you need to use more force, gas will do nothing for you.
