No remote

I know you can buy replacement keyless entry remotes on ebay. The issue I am having is they all have numbers that need to match. My problem is I have none to compare to. How do I know which numbers will work on my 01 SE?? Any help would be appreciated.

Take it up to the dealer. Battery will only run you $4.00. Mines been in my 97 and 98 for over 3 years and still working. I wouldn't buy them from Ebay. You never know what your going to get.

I think I recall from an earlier post that her problem is with not having remotes at all, not from non-functional remotes. The numbers on my remote are 9364556-4575 and Canada 34321021779. They say "Delphi" on the back and fcc ID L2C0007T. I don't know which numbers are car specific or are the important ones. They are from an '01 SE though. The car is programmed to "learn" the remote. I don't know if the dealer has to do this or if there is a procedure where you can do it. follow this link - these are the ones I have to the T!. Good luck! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33723

Re: No remote

There are some other threads on this forum that tell how to look at the options codes on the inside of your trunklid and verify that you are set up for keyless.

Re: Re: Re: Re: No remote

Well, no more need to ask any more questions. Just went out and found out that it is not set up for keyless entry or theft deterrent. Got into the programming mode and only heard 2 chimes.

Hey L do you still have to lay on top of the hood to set/unset the alarm?
Is this a problem that is in the alarm system itself or the remotes.
I do remember alot of people having this problem.
