Unhappy oil leak

i have a 95 JGC and there is an oil leak coming from the top of the oil filter. The filter was tightly installed but oil still leaks from the metal plate above the filter. how can it be removed and replaced?

Check to make sure that the gasket from the old filter isn't stuck on the engine. Also try a new filter it may be defective, i had engine pumping oil around a new filter replaced filter solved problem.

Are yousure it isn't the adapter that the oil filter bolts on to. check to see if it is leaking where adapter is bolted to block. Questions holler dale [email protected]
