Front lip/chin spoiler

whatever you want to call it, I want one. Problem is, I havent seen any for the 4g. They look really sweet on the 5g and ITR, so I'd like to get one. I guess the one on the SiR was an option? If anyone has any info, let me know. Thanks.

The chin spoiler on the SiR was standard (along with the lip on the rear bumper and the two on each side of the car). It also came out on a number of the other JDM spec cars - certainly on the XT25 as it shares a lot of external panals with the SiR.

I have seen them on some of our CRXs - the '90-91 spec mostly so maybe they were adding them then?

oh ok, the only reason I said an option is because the SiR front conversions people sell dont ever seem to have the lip. I would just like the front to look a little lower without having to by an aftermarket bumper, my oem bumper looks great to me. plus most aftermarket ones are over the edge anyway (except for the wings west rs one).

Maybe you could get one made up to match? I can do some close up pics if you know of someone who could create it over there. I like them because they are subtle, yet change the car's look quite nicely

Exactly . I dont have a clue who the hell could make one for me, so dont waste your time. Thanks though. I've seen 2 SiR lips on ebay in the past few months, maybe I can try and snag the next one and make it fit. I actually went after mugen to see if they made one, but the reply I got was that parts for the EF havent been produced in years. bastards. I would like some dimensions of the SiR bumper compared to the US bumper, just so it actually is possible to make fit. I'm figuring they must be pretty close in size, but maybe not exact.

Size is exactly the same but the shape at the bottom is slightly different. A plastic welder might be able to make the alterations for you

It's a lip - there are a series of screws located under the bumper.
