Intake

I want to install this intake on my 99 GA v6:

The question is... could it actually do harm to the car with the stock air box removed?
(Probably wont do anything good either, but it gives a nice look )

Thanks for any input

Re: Intake

No it won't harm your car. That is a nice short ram / warm air intake setup - like I have. It'll probably get you about +5 HP, and it'll sound mean - mine sounds great when I get on it. My advice - go for it.

Re: Intake

No problem trix - and welcome to the forum.

And yeh, you're right forklift guy. I noticed much better response off the line due to shorter pipe length = less lag.
