In need of a cheap transmission

Does anyone have a transmission that will fit in a 1985 delta 88 behind the 307 block. Either the 2004r or turbo 350 transmission will work. I have picked up this car to race at a local track and dont have to much money to spend on a transmission so the cheaper the better.

Upon further research the turbo 350 would be to costly to drop into this car. The key here is to do this as cheap as possible. The best way for this would be for me to find a 2004r trans so i dont need to buy a converter plate and a longer drive shaft. So does anyone have a cheap 2004r tranny.

Re: In need of a cheap transmission

You should have told me more details as to what you need...I have flexplates and maybe a driveshaft but I need to know what size you would need. Good Luck.
