1940 buick super

I don't know much about cars dating back farther then the 60's...This farmer asked me to sell a 1940 buick roadmaster on ebay for him. I said yeah sure I'll sell it. I listed it 2 days ago then I found out it was a 1940 buick super. It's a 4 door straight 8 and needs complete restore but it does have a solid body everything else is pretty junked out. I was just wanting to know how much it's worth and how rare it is...just any info would be nice. thanks

In the condition it's in, I'd say about 1000-1200.

I'll give you 800 for it.

Seriously, I have no clue on it's value, but my offer for $800 stands.

umm I would be surprised if this car went for the thousand I'm asking....I might lower it to encourage bidding.
