Question 02 Z28 Vs. 97 T/a

I was just wondering what kind of race the trans am would give the camaro and who would win. Both cars are stock but the camaro is automatic and the trans am is manual???????

Stock for stock, no it wouldn't. Would be close down low, then up top the Camaro would start pulling pretty good.

Judging by the half assed races I have gotten into with LT1 cars, it would be after about 40 MPH. The LS1 really breathes a ton better in the upper RPM's.

Re: 02 Z28 Vs. 97 T/a

yep, no question... LS1 takes that one... T/A's are usually heavier due to options... the Z28 will generally weigh less in addition to it's large power advantage...
