Times i would be lookin at

Well i finally paid for my last thing that i need to run my car i was wondering what time ranges i'll be lookin at in the 1/4.... and total horsepower





1972 nova with a 454 with 8.75:1 compression 425hp
Dynomax headers
800cm carb
Edelbrock performer intake
282 series cam
3.73 gears
TH-400 transmisson automatic
D.O.T street legal drag tires



any idea cuz i'll like to know what i'm dealing with, one of my friends with his eclipse said he'll whip me all over the road.... but i dont think so but i dont want to look like fool....

dont know about time ranges but that eclipse wont even come close to you!!!

That motor will make torque. If it hooks I would say 12.00 to 12.50 with a lot of tuning you may get into the 11.xx's

What stall speed? What kind of cam--Roller, hydraulic or not, solid? Do you know how much your car weighs? What kind of heads are on it? Oval, Rectangular, peanut ports?

I'd predict 12.5 to 13.5 depending on the specifics.
