if running turbo i should replace my stock rods right???
i heard stock rods suck on cavs. |

It depends on how much Psi that your going to be pushing with that turbo, but just to be on the safe side i would change the internals.

if your gonna run more than 8 psi, i forget what gm rated the engine to run but i think it's somewhere around there, i would change the rods. and if you're already gonna change those, you might as well get some stronger lower compression pistons too, as well as springs. and other internals you change won't hurt either, especially if you're thinking about upping the psi, and after adding whatever you add, you'll more than likely want to.
oh, and i'm assuming you have the 2.4, i don't know why i'm assuming that, but i am. maybe cuz that's what i have. and if i were you, i'd do a lot more research before adding any type of boost |
