Under construction: Lambo Gallardo....it's an epidemic!

This is the new Fujimi kit...a follow up to their recent Murcie kit. It seems this kit is a little more accurate although it still has fitting issues just like all Fujimi kits. I haven't gotten to much of the assembly but so far I had to reduce the top edge of the side glass so it would fit.

There were sink marks to fill on front and back of the body and mold lines in precarious places to remove.

Here's a pic of the body painted in Tamiya TS26 white, it will get a House of Kolor Alabaster pearl powder in clear mid-coat, I was inspired by the white Gallardo at the Geneva show.

Unlike the Murcie kit this body is one piece except for the engine cover which makes it a quicker build and less potential for error.

Looks good in white. I'm contributing to the epidemic as we speak, filling the tons 'o sink marks that are standard equipment on Fujimi Lambo kits .

looks good in white, but you need some cool color for the interior then, maybe blue.

Will you do something concerning what seems to me the worst problem of this kit: the mould deficiency that led the windscreen pillar to be thinner at his top than at his bottom, which is wrong, and makes the side windows upper line inaccurate...?

I haven't painted mine, but honestly that's a very difficult area to change, because of the one-piece side glass and trim. The pillar is very thin at the top; I will have to have the side glass installed before polishing the kit because the pillars are already weak.

It's Fujimi...never, ever expect excellence .

WOOHOO, you are the most updated man in AF.....Pearl White on the GALLARDO.....dont forget to change the rim colour. If u need more reference pics, let me know.
