could someone tell where I could locate the back up switch for my 1998 grand Cherokee limited. My lights are currently not working, if I moved the shifter a bit toward park it seems to come on. I was told that the problem could be in the back switch. Adiitionally please let me know if the the neutral safety switch is the same as the back light switch?
Thanks, |

Re: back up switch on 1998 jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with a 5.2 liter
Yes the NSS is the reverse light switch, when placed in reverse the NSS turns the backup lights on. Try cleaning the NSS, this has worked for other people with the same problem.
