Here's another problem I have with my 97 Ford Taurus GL Stationwagon,
When I'm going between 60 and 75 my car starts to severely wobble and shake as if the tires are about to come off, This past Saturday I change front brake pads and got a brand new Tire for the Driver's side I also notice the tech tightening the Lock nut on that side. could this be a problem as well on the other side and should I have it check to. |

Check the lug nots...if thats not the problem..There may be a
bubble on one of the tires...jack it up and use a coke can ... hold it close to the tire...turn the tire and see if it hits the coke can at any point. |

If that's the case, then if the other tire on that axle is not new or is a different brand and/or size, that can cause significant driveability problems too. |

Both tires are new the one on the passenger side is about three weeks older and both tires are the same Uniroyal Tires.

Re: Wobble Wobble Shake Shake Down The Road I Go
Sounds like a tire out of balance to me too. The other possibility is a tie-rod end could be going bad if there is jerking in the steering at 60-75 mph. Does it stop when you go past 75mph?

YES it stops after I reach 75 that's exactly the problem

I would look at tie-rod ends then. If it is wobbling the steering, I would have a suspension shop look at your front end.
