Test/Straight Pipe
What up, guys i'm looking for this

You can get a "test pipe" almost anywhere. I got my "test pipe" at Fleet Farm for $10 plus the clamps and all.

Dude hes been selling those "test pipes" for almost 2 years and always says that ebay may stop him from selling those. Dont get ripped off, i'll make you one and sell it to you for 50 bucks plus shipping. lol...

i was just about to ask that question, if i could get the "test" pipe from one of the local shops in the neighbor hood. I knew i saw it at autozone, and your absolutely right about a year back i was looking in the exhaust section for my other car and he was saying the same thing.

Two years ago I bought a test pip from this guy, and it said the exact same thing on his listing. He's bullshitting you, he won't stop selling them anytime soon. But they should be fairly cheap to buy from any muffler shop.
Also, what are you guys's opinions on the performance gains with a test pipe. When I bought mine, I had a v6. I've heard that when you hook them up with V8s, you suffer from torque loss because of the lack of back pressure. Any truth to this? |
