Power Mirrors only move in one direction

I have a 91 and a 92 Grand Prix and both of them have the same problem. My power mirrors only move to the right. Does any one have any ideal if the mirror would have multiple power sources? and if so what color would they be?

All I can say is try replacing the switch and that should solve the problem. Do that happen when you put the switch on both mirrors? If so, change the switch.

Re: Re: Power Mirrors only move in one direction

I tried replacing the switch with 2 different ones from the junk yard. They both did the same thing. That why I figured that it must be a short, but I've traced the wires as far as i can, and haven't noticed any damage.

Yes, if I switch it to L or R it only moves to the right.

Sounds like a bad wiring harness. Take a meter to it.
