THe Bible Code / Revelations ETC.

I shouldn't believe every prophecy I hear, but I just saw this show on TLC called the bible code. It explained how the hebrew bible was being translated with this mathematical formula that turns some matrixes in "crossword" puzzles. They find words in each of these, and make these revelations. It also tells of past happenings. It's really wierd but it scares the shit outta me. A few highlights from what I've read.

Bush is the Devil is stated several times

Rome will be hit by a Meteor in 2006

Yellowstone Eruption

Earthquakes

Nuclear Holocaust

A lot more revelations that are just as scary and interesting

Comet hitting the Earth in 2012. It predicts only 125 million will be left in the entire world in 2016.

4,000,000,000 people will die after the comet hits as a result of 2006 happenings and up. 2,000,000,000 more will die from affects of the comet.

All the shit is suppose to start arround 2006 check it out for yourself THE BIBLE CODE

take ANY book and use the same mathematical formula, and you're bound to get the exact same results. I use to visit www.bibledecoded.com but stopped caring when God decided to postpone the apocalypse 4 years.

Not to mention that only the Jehova's Witnesses will be picked to survive, so i guess i'm screwed anyways.

Interesting to look at, but it looks like they picked characters to make their messages. The crossword analogy doesn't seem to work; some of the Bush messages used scattered letters from across the screen.

Somebody spent an awful lot of time doing that...

This is an old, old routine of trying to see patterns in the Bible, using numerology etc. Literally, people have been doing it for hundreds of years.
Guess what? They all have been wrong, or so vague as to have meant almost anything.

Doing this kind of stunt has no credibility.

I don't believe in the "Bible code". Besides..there are enough prophesies in the Bible that aren't coded that have happened. I agree with dirtydx on this one as far as being able to do the same with just about any book.

it was proven that u cant do it witha ny other book. the odds where crazy. i read bible code books 1 and 2 and they are so interesting its crazy. im a firm believer. they are even looking for an artifact in the middle east as we speak that the bible code gave a map to. read the book then get back to me and tell me u dont believe!

I have seen that show before. It is kinda scarry if you think about it. I truley think that bush is the devil. When you are married to a conspiery theoriest, you begain to believe a lot of shit. Eric will come home and tell me something off the wall, I am like OK. Then he pulles out the evedince and it freaks me out. Call me crazy but I believe in all that stuff.

He may not be the devil but he sometimes does a pretty good imitation of him.

Seen the shows, care to tell me in what part of either episode did it say Bush is the devil?

I remember them associating Bin Laden with anti-christ. But I know that wasn't on there.

Read my link up top if you want to know the prophecies I.E. Bush is the devil. I'm partially sold on it because of the odds, but I'll wait till things start happening that are in the bible code to fully believe it. I actually don't like to think about the world ending just forget about, and enjoy life while you can.

Glad you didnt get insulted by my thought.

I find the Bible Codes extremely interesting. I also think there could be an error from the sheer differences in whom is doing the matrices. Kinda hard for me to believe, while its intrigueing to think about the future, I don't want to know it.

I also decided to read a few things on opposing the bible code. The people who oppose have great arguements too.

What I've noticed from only a little bit of searching the Bible Code is marketed all over the web. It's almost as if it's just to make money book sales etc. Now that I've read both sides to a small extent I've come to the conclusion that whatever happens happens fuck it. It's too much work to bother with prophecy.
