Short Shifter???
I am wondering if i should get a short shifter. And if i do is it necessary to pay 50 on an obx or is it alright to buy a knock-off to save a few bucks. I have also seen people changing there pullies out. Is it necessary to get name brand pullies also. I sure am sounding cheap here aren't I.

Re: Short Shifter???
i've had a $99 hurst short throw and i've had a $20 ebay short throw and besides for the neato hurst logo, they wre the same quality. If you hear of people breaking their shifter, they are shifting too damn hard.

Re: Short Shifter???
for the shifter, i'd say it wouldn't matter...but for the pullies...i wouldn't trust a knock off part, not for something that'll be powering my car and spinning at 7000+rpm
