My E30's been hit!

Well I just got back from a year long deployment and was looking forward to taking my E30 out to forget about the past monthes. It snowed the day before i got home, but i was glad that the day i did, it was getting warmer and the roads were clear. everything was great until my wife started screaming "omigod, someone has hit the car!"

i could not even be mad. all i could do was shake my head. she has taken great care of it while i was gone. and now, after a year of being deprived of the E30's power and handling, i have to drive around with the side banged up.

the B pillar is bent in, the rear door is tight and leaks, and the front door is bent in and missing the trim. this is all on the drivers side. i hate it when people drive with mangled cars, and now we have to do it.

luckily my wife recently got full coverage on it, and the insurance is paying for everything even a rental car. i just have to wait until April to get it fixed. and i have been driving it now for 4 weeks already.

it just makes me upset that they could not even be honest enough to leave a note or something.

Sorry to hear
Gut wrenching when your pride and joy is damaged.
Especially when someone else runs into it and does a runner.

I did some minor damage to my car - myself - and was gutted!

I feel for you.

Damn good timing your Wife getting insurance!
