NEW R-35 GT-R Info

Haa haa......got your attention with the title I bet . Now alot of you know me for my posts of "Reality" . I pride myself in giving pre-pubesant ricers the dose of reality they need. So if after reading this post, you realize that you actually have no supernatural powers and are not the "dragonmaster" .....lay down your 8-sided dice and now I have accomplished my mission of bringing reality inside of your heads regarding LIFE and being able to afford cars most of you only wish you could. It's that simple.......it's just Reality...enjoy. A post similar to this has also been posted in the "R-35...ha ha....GT-R forums"

Alright, this is for all of you people. First off.....this is not the "Skyline R35" . I highly doubt Nissan will release it under the Skyline Name. Second, I keep hearing about all the rumored engines to be put in the car, point blank........if it doesn't have the RB, it's not a Skyline . Third...I don't know why you are all so excited. ........you couldn't afford a Skyline before, and YOU CAN'T AFFORD ONE NOW. OK........when Motorex was in business you could buy an R32 GT-R for about how much?? Maybe $15,000 for a nice one.... yeah that's about right. And then once you sent it to Motorex you would pay them about $16,000 for conversion and $2,500 for shipping right? So we are talking a grand total of about $33,500.00 ................now WTF makes you all think that when they release this beast in the U.S. that you will be able to afford it . It's probably going to be priced around at least $35,000.00(probably more)........Now let's all think.....you couldn't afford the $33,500 "REAL" Skyline ...............Now what makes you think you are going to afford the "Wannabe" Skyline $35,000-your right and left testicle ........(most likely......"Infiniti GT-R".........note:not a skyline). I just keep hearing things like this...........

RicerRetard1-"Hey dog, did you hear we're finally getting the GT-R"
RicerRetard2- "Word, that is so pimp dog....I will be the most fly ricer on my block"
RicerRetard1-"Word up....I'm so gonna score that car after I get my license and grow some pubs"
RicerRetard2-"Yeah dog, we're gonna be so in debt that we won't even be able to afford gas or food"
RicerRetard1-"Yeah man, but we'll still be driveway pimpin and be soooo fly and we can charge money to stare at our pimp rides, so we can afford to eat too."

Ummmmm no .............Like I said If you couldn't afford the Skyline when Motorex was importing them, then you probably won't be able to afford this new..........GT-R. Hell, most of the guys saying they are gonna buy one can't even afford a Maxima or a Cavelier for that matter .

I just don't understand that's all .............Just trying to lay out the "Facts of Life" . So put down your 8 sided Dice and admit you are not a level 14 Fire Mage, and welcome to my horrible world of reality .......sorry I had to be the one to turn on the lights.

Now I know alot of you are gonna argue with me and blah blah blah...........but guess what........I DGAF......so whatever. Because as most regulars know......don't argue with me.....you'll just get

What was the point of posting all of this twice?

Again, I agree with you on the naming issue. This is Igor's site though, and he can name the forum whatever he wants.

Again, you need a history lesson. Only four of eleven generations of the Skyline have used the RB. So, the others just don't count? Can you you call yourself an enthusiast and turn your back on all of that history?

But hey, you said the car wouldn't be called a Skyline. Does it really matter what the GT-R has in it? Won't be a Skyline, so it doesn't need an RB. Why not just put a CA-series 4-banger in it, like some of the older Skylines?

Third...I don't know why you are all so excited. ........you couldn't afford a Skyline before, and YOU CAN'T AFFORD ONE NOW.
You really can't speak for anyone on their financial status, or whether they'll even want to buy the car or not. Just drop it.

I'm looking forward to the 'ownage.' This should be good.

Although I admit defeat in one area......you are right, there was no point in posting this twice.

Good, I don't care what it's named ....just pointing out even the new 350z does not go by the same name in Japan. So that being said, in Japan the new car may be called the R35 GT-R, But in America(since we never had Skylines) will most likely be called the "Infiniti GT-R" or something. See you in America have "Lexus", our similar car is "Toyota"...almost the exact same car......different name. Or our "Silvia" and your "240sx". Just saying Japanese cars have a habit of getting named something completely different in America.(and the American model have significantly less power) Hence the JDM Craze . And since I am not a Igor, he can name it......"my dirty little fantasy"....or "the saviour of ricers" or "R-35". This is not my area, therefor I have no authority here.

sigh........I know that, but guess what.......the people that come in hear drooling over the "New SKYLINE" and how great it will be, don't care about the old models.........why.....they were ugly and didn't have the same power as the last 3 generations. At least 90% of the people that want the "R-35" or a Skyline, only know about the R32, 33, and 34. Most people really don't give a crap about the others. Although I know of all of them. Ohh wait........I don't live in Japan or anything . Yeah I do. As for my grade point average......I will immediatly enroll myself in "Skylines 101" and "Advanced Skylines".

Well we all know that the Skyline is Famous for the Inline-6. Now I've heard talk of 8-cylinders and such. Alright,.........no........Japanese cars are known for small engines that put out extreme power for their size. If you're gonna drop some "american muscle" in there.......you are defeating the purpose of "imports". As for the 4 cylinder.......ummm....no. Hey if it does come with a 4-cylinder then you all that live in the states have fun. ohhh a vicious 4 cylinder....ohhh I just don't think it would be capable of putting out the same power as the 6. The most powerful Skyline in the world is in Tokyo pushing out around 1510 HP. That is insane.....There are 8 cylinder "American Muscle" that would get SMOKED by that. But it comes down to me not being "NISSAN" and therefor not having a say in it......ohhh and not caring But you are right, it doesn't really matter what engine.

I have a simple point, that is obviously going over your head . Now, we all know you could import Skylines before. Now all I've heard from the people that are excited about the "R35" was that....boo hoo....Motorex was too expensive....all I did was lay it out that the NEW "R35" is probably gonna cost even more then it would have cost them to import one before. So therefor they are still in the same situation of not being able to afford it. Unless you win the lottery, are a "trust fund" kid, or sell one of your testicles.

I think I am finished here......Ohh by the way I actually own a Skyline....R33..........not a "model" or "imaginary car". I know my facts and I present the facts, sorry if I smash people's dreams...... If people wanna buy it, I don't care. If they can afford it, I also don't care. People's financial status is not my business, nor again do I care. I just don't want them to get their hopes up for something they probably in "reality" can't have. Sooo I think I can safely say........

So....VQuick....ya' feelin' OWNED? I didn't think so.

There are Marines all over Japan with Skylines.....doesn't make them Skyline geniuses. But then the majority of them don't go around spouting crap.

Dude....you don't own shiite!

No it doesn't, cause most of them just think....."ohhh, I am so freaking cool cause now I drive the rice rocket from 2Fast2Gay........".
They don't appreciate their car or the history of it. I LOVE NISSAN. I think Nissan cars are awsome. Since owning my Skyline(Way way before the ricer movies came out).......I've come to take a personal interest in it. Yes not everyone who drives a skyline is an expert......nor am I.....I just try to learn as much as I can about it.(more then the average owner) Although I don't speak on things I know nothing about.

So if you don't care, why did you post in two different forums about it? At the very least, your tone could have been a little less inflammatory.

Quote:
sigh........I know that, but guess what.......
So? Let people learn on their own. People complain about useless posts in this forum, and posts like your initial one don't exactly help things. Come to think of it, neither does your second post.

A VK45 or even a VK56, if Nissan were to offer them in the GT-R, are not "American Muscle." If the V8 was used in the USDM GT-R, which was the rumor, why would that be 'defeating the purpose of imports?' Was Subaru 'defeating the purpose of imports' when they decided to offer the USDM WRX STi with an extra half liter of displacement? Hardly. It's mixing displacement and technology together, something "American Muscle" companies don't typically do.

There are "American Muscle" cars that could SMOKE that Skyline, too. There's always someone faster.

You certainly cared enough to type all that nonsense up, post it in two different forums, and then reply to me. If that's not caring, I'd love to see when you do care about something.

Quote:

I got the point, but you don't need to denounce two entire forums worth of participants as not being able to afford something when you likely have little information about them or their past/present/future financial situation.

In addition, does someone have to be able to afford a car to like it and talk about it with others? When I was seven, I loved the Lamborghini Countach. Was that wrong? Today, I really like the S2 Lotus Exige. But wait, I can't afford it, so I can't talk about it at all! Wait, I just did! Oh noes!!

'Bout time.

Quote:

Good. So you didn't steal that picture in your avatar from anyone. Maybe you're halfway credible, after all.

Hey, wait a minute. You said you were finished! More nonsense.

Quote:
I know my facts and I present the facts, sorry if I smash people's dreams........I use facts.
And bore the life out of the forum in the process. Keep it up! Maybe Razor or ZedEx will delete this thread before page three!

Quote:
If people wanna buy it, I don't care. If they can afford it, I also don't care. People's financial status is not my business, nor again do I care.
If you don't care so much, then just let people dream! How much does it really affect you? If someone posts about it, you have a choice: Read it, get annoyed, and post more nonsense, or...just don't bother reading it. Shouldn't be that hard. Seriously.

Quote:

Don't worry about other people on an internet forum, worry about yourself in Ja-pan, with your R33. Who died and made you Dr. Phil?

That's the problem. Calling ownage by yourself is a little pompous, no? If your ownage is real, you should be able to have others call it for you, as in this case...

No but really I'm just kidding, I don't have the right to say that cause I don't know you................but it was pretty funny I thought.
