just got back from the kitcollectors show - CA

I just got back, a while ago, from the kit collectors show in Stanton, CA. What a great place to score some deals. Here's what I bought,
1.) Tamiya McLaren MP4/13 - $18
2.) Tamiya Jaguar XJR-9LM - $8
3.) Fujimi Dome-Zero Le-mans (with Cartograph) - $18
4.) Tamiya New Beetle - $5
5.) Tamya Yamaha TMax - $4

All the kits are brand new/sealed. If you guys are in the area, try not to miss the next one. Unfortunately the next one won't be till nex year, but I think there's a similar show (Herb Deeks) coming up.

The upcoming dates and location can be found here (as well as other goings on):

I guess my info wasn't very accurate. It's actually in Buena Park (on Stanton Ave) and the show happens a couple of times a year. Don't let the name "kit collectors" fool you into thinking everything is high priced. If you're interested in kits other than car, all the better since there's plenty of armour and aircraft too.

Perhaps others, who have also gone to the show, will leave their impressions.

I used to go when it was held at the Seqouia club, lots of vendors and good bargains!

Yeah, I went to the show looking specifically for the McLaren. I too, have the Japan version but I don't think I'm ready to build it. The regular version has been getting hard to find, and the prices are going up. I saw another one there going for $23, almost pick it up too. At these prices, I won't feel so bad if I mess it up a little.

Tis a nice Tamiya kit. One on eBay for £9.99 at the moment, around $20.00.. I got one a few weeks back and it does me with postage nearly £20.00..

I've been on a lkit buying frenzy.. I've had to slow it down, both my pocket is hurting and my bedroom is full of kits..!!
