Post KO Racing "Street Brawler" Turbo Kit

Hi all, my name is JJ and I am a MR2 newbie in here. I have some questions to ask you guys about my turbo and KO racing turbo kit. Would you guys please help me.

I got 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo with original 95000 miles. My car had a lot smoke came out from its exhaust on and off. Some day my car seems to be just perfect, the next day it looks like its going to burn up...seriously it was just so scarely.

Now, what is the posibility problems that I am facing with? Could it be my turbo oil seal gone bad or the engine need to be rebuild? What should I do? I am going to take the stock turbo out next weekend to see its internal failure. Does anyone know how to inpect the CT26 turbo?

I am planning to buy KO Racing's turbo kit or Greddy TD06 whenever I am sure that my stock turbo goes bad. Does anyone know which one is perfect for 300-350WHP daily driven between Ko Racing and Greddy? In my opion, I like KO Racing more but it is a little costly. Which one has the closest power output to GT28RS Disco Potato? Where is the cheapest place I can buy KO Racing Turbo kit?

Again, would you guys please help me out with these problems?
Nice to meet you all, MR2 friends

Thank you very much
JJ

Either the KO or the TD06 will do 300-350 rwhp.
There is not much of a price difference when you factor in that you should have an extrenal wastegate installed on the TD06.

Forget about the "disco potato."
