charcoal cannister
Have: 2001 Corolla - Diagnostic: P0440 EVAP Emission CV
Is it worth replacing charcoal cannister? what if i keep disconnecting battery to turn off (P0440 - EVAP) light? any repercussions? thanks. chris |

The canister closed valve is located near the canister. You can just replace the valve, much cheaper that way

canister diagnosis
The manual says you have raise the car, and remove the exhaust pipe to gain access to the canister. Is this true?
The evap perge code is setting on my wifes car. Not a biggie with me, but NY state is initiating this emissions bullshit as part of the inspection process. John |
