I recently bought a 2000 monte carlo SS (used) with 92k on it and I some times hear a sort of clunking sound in my front breaks when I am turning once I apply pressure. It doesn't happen all the time but it has got me sort of worried. Does anybody have an idea on what that might be??
Thanks in advance |

Re: Breaks on 2000 monte carlo
Does it do the same thing when you accelerate while turning...like a popping noise that can be felt in the steering wheel? I had a similar problem with my 2000 Monte SS, turned out to be my right CV needed to be replaced.
