adjust carburetor oldsmobile toronado 1973?

I'm new here,and i really hope someone overhere can help me out with my problem. I own an Oldsmobile Toronado of 1973. Put in a new carburetor and there's the problem. I need to adjust it again. Can anyone tell me maybe what the exact degrees are for my car. It has a 455 rocket engine BB in it.

By 'degrees' do you mean ignition timing?
Ignition advance for this engine is 10 degrees BTDC when idling at 650 rpm with the transmission in 'drive'.

yes i meant that with it,something to do with the distributor....or whatever it's called....I always mix those two up....but i'll see what it does when they put it on 10degrees. Thanks for the advice tho'.If it's not working ok i'll let you know
