I use Chevron's Techron Concentrate Fuel System Cleaner every 3,000 miles and I haven't had any fuel issues for over 150,000 miles.

Re: Re: fuel system cleaner

I use Valvoline Complete fuel system treatment every 3,000. I can tell a difference when i use it and when i dont. I also ever 15,000 clean my throttle body and intake valves. i rigged up something that they do at alot of service shops. I hook up this hose to my main vac line. and off this hose branches 2 different hoses one i put into a bottle of fuel treatment, and the other leave it open to suck in air. run i til the bottles empty. then rev my engine up to 2,500 rpms for a couple minutes and that seems to get all the carbon deposits off my intake valves. so yeah just get some thin breather hose and a Y connection and you can rig up something 2.

I don't even consider any smaller new car or truck as domestic anymore. Fords are made in their Mazda plant, Dodge is made by mitisbishi, and Chevy is made by Isuzo, Geo, Suzukki

Re: Re: fuel system cleaner

yeah its a crying shame that Our "fearless leader" doesnt tell companies they cant pull that shit anymore. Thats the downfall of america as we know it. Lazyness. Let someone else make it and well buy it. Its totally backwards in countries like japan. Let someone else make the mistakes buy it we will put in our own designs and make it that much better and sell it for more. Lets not get into politics though. Back To Fuel Additive. Everyone thinks there additive is the best. its probably better to try a few and see how they work. Just dont get the cheap house brand and chances are it will work.

Re: fuel system cleaner

Our gas is already full of additives, so to be perfectly honest I just use gasline antifreeze when I need it.

I've been driving for 20 years now and change the fuel filter from time to time. I only fuel up where they sell lots of gas.. And I've never had a fuel related problem that an additive would have prevented

Re: fuel system cleaner

my Honda was assembled here in the us, a lot is, china has a board game on steel right now, japan is still, imo, manufacturing the best 4cyl. out there, our president isn't an idiot, if i owned a fuck ton (a substantial amount more then a shit load) of oil, i would let opec drive the prices sky high to, hes not dumb, hes a polotition, and even if he was an idiot, the american public re-elected him... and sea foam every oil change is excellent

Even the stuff made completely in the US, and I can't forget Canada, how many products are actually made here by people that can speak English?
