Cant figure out flooding problem!
hey guys, I have an 81 firebird with a chevy 305 in it. I recently rebuilt it and im trying to start it up but i cant get the carb to stop flooding the motor. When i crank it only about 2 maybe 3 cylinders fire and then my motor is flooded and i cant seem to get it to run. ANY suggestions would be alot of help.

chances are your ignition is off, not firing properly to burn the gas, therefore flooding the engine, a stuck float in the carb could also be the problem. |

Re: Cant figure out flooding problem!
I just checked my coil in the distributor and realized that it was fried. The power wire had split and was arcing to the ground. Im gonna put my new one in and see if that helps
