Transmission
I have 55ooo miles on my sport v8 automatic. Just had the gaskets done. I have been reading about the reverse pop and the slow shift and its starting to happen to me. What I didn't see an answer to, is after you replace the solenoid pack and the valve body is it fixed for good?

indeed so far it was the best fix. I have been though 4 solenoid packs upt to this point the first three kept going bad up to this point when I had the valve body replaced. But for the cost of the parts you can almost buy a new tranny and I think the new tranny comes with 3/36 yr/mi warranty and runs about 1400 bux.
