Thumbs down Viper GTS kits

Does anyone know of a good Viper GTS kit? I bought the Revell one as a last resort. I am slowly putting it together while I let stuff for my 300zx project dry. Well, as I'm sure many of you know, the body is not all one piece, both front/rear bumpers must be glued on. Well, I guess you can't expect too much for a $13 kit, but of course neither bumper will fit right. There is a decent sized gap in the rear bumper that will have to be filled in with some putty. Yippy. The front bumper has no real gap, but it does not fit right anyways.

Well, I will probably finish the kit even with the poor quality, but if there is an exceptional quality Viper coupe (GTS, GTSR, ACR, etc) kit let me know.

Steve Gibbons did a nice job with a Studio 27 racing Viper

Anyway, all I can say about Revell and AMT/ERTL kits are...they build character.

I slapped together a Testors/Bburago prepainted metal body kit and it turned out like..... um..... a preassembled, prepainted metal Bburago car.

It did have a bit of room for customization, though, if you're willing to strip and repaint the body, I guess.
