I recently bought a 2002 Intrepid that needs a new Power Steering Pump, can someone give me any ideas on how I would go about replacing it the simplest way Possible?

Re: Power Steering Pump Replacement
*lossen mounting and pivot bolts
*remove belt *take off pulley if you have to swap it (likely a lefty bolt, brace pulley w/ screwdriver through hole against engine body) *disconect hoses (manuals generally say something bout taking off high pressure hose first, but I didn't know that when i took off the one i replaced, so i don't think it matters, but it should be the smaller one/one not appearing to directly enter the main body of the pump) *remove pump from mount *go backwards to reinstal *fill resevoiur, turn on car, let run, turn full left and right a few times then readjust level and you should be done. that's how i did it anyway... turned out fine.
