Busted ...

So Cindy and I went out in the big ole' Suburban to pick up some stuff. We pull out onto a local highway that is fully of twistys and is a total blast. As far as I know the really twisty section is never policed although ther eis the white lines painted on the ground at spots.

So we are only on the road maybe 100 feet and the 'Burban is accelerating like an elephant running through mud and this 2 kids in a VW go flying by ... I thought their ass was on fire how fast they went by.

Sorry I do not know my VWs ... little hatchback, modded ... looked nice.

*ever notice how foolish people look excessively speeding when they aren't you?

Anyway, we get 1/2 way into the twistys and I see a poilce officer has somone pulled over. I said to Cin, "Watch it be the kids in the VW."

... then I was like, Nah, that would have been to fast to have been pulled over ~ they JUST went by us.

It was them. Doh. I guess they police that tqisty section of road after all I'm glad I was im the Suburban. For those of you that do not know, I just bought hte Suburban as a tow vehicle for Hyde.
Check out my column for the newspaper on it here:

Re: Busted ...

It sounded like it was a VW Golf. Pretty funny you were thinking, "Yeah, they never police this area." Moments later there are kids pulled over in that area. Coincidence? I would like to think you're lucky for not being in Jekyl. L8...

Re: Busted ...

That will make you think twice next time you take one of the MR2's on that road wont it. I live right down the road from the State Police head quarters and as long as you live near them(a local) they dont care if you're speeding a little bit. I was traveling down my road going 70 in a 55 and the cop came up behind me, passed me, and waved at me as he drove by....

Re: Busted ...

If I was in one of my MR2s I would have most likely been farther down the road (ahead of the VW) and I would have encountered Mr. Policeman first
