help...interior paint question

last night i began painting my interior, i pulled the side door moldings off and started to paint them, one piece i painted silver, the rest of it i did blue, and the blue is scratching off easy, is it because i need clear coat? wash better? or i cant use the spray paint? when i first got done painting it, there were little dots where the paint moved???

please hlep?

I would not just use normal spay paint, although you supposedly can after using plastic primer.

The main reason your paint would be easily scratched off would be not enough drying time, bad prep./wrong surface material, or the wrong temps/humidity when laying the paint down (too cold and the paint never cures, it congeals and stays sticky).

Yes clear coat will help to protect your paint you've layed down, but not if the above mentioned conditions are not met

Follow the directions on the can exactly, and observe drying time (extra time is good), and temperture specifications (normally about 75*F-85*F in dry conditions)
