z28 wont start
i have a 94 z28 that wont start lately it turns over a couple of times and then the starter stops turning over and it sounds like it is running a fan until i let go of the key but when it turns over it doesnt seem like it is getting enough power Can anyone tell me what this could be

same thing happened to me when my optispark went....
my starter was going bad as well, it had enough power to turn the car over when everything else was ok, but when there was no firing it didnt cut it and broke loose and started spinning freely (may sound like a fan I suppose) but yeah, try the basics first....fuel, spark, battery, starter, etc... just dont be surprised if the opti is the culprit.

Re: z28 wont start
im just gonna buy a new battery and see if that is it because it did it once before and the battery needed to be charged but i was wondering why the starter just stops turning over and it sounds like a fan is running

Re: z28 wont start
the starter needs more amps to run than the fan
