been think of a b series swap

ok, i have been thinkin of doin a b series swap. i was thinkin of a ls swap. my main question is what do i need to do the whole swap and how long does it take if i have all the parts i need oh hand. i know i need a transmision, engine, mounts, cv joints. but what ecu do i need to run and also is it a obd0 to obd1 conversion?? also, is a ls a b16 or a b18b? do know much about b series. i can get a b18b for like $500 then i was thinkin of a ls trans. thanx
