Good Engine Code Scanner
Hey guys:
Any recommendations on a scanner (less than $100) for late model GM cars (including my 2000 montana)? I just want the basic ability to read any trouble codes from the engine. Thanks, Keith |

I recently got an Actron 9145 off of eBay for about $180 shipped. It's a little more then you want to spend, but it will show real time sensor readings. You can get it's younger brothers, the 9135 and 9125 for under $100 off of eBay. The 9135 will tell you codes and a brief description. The 9125 just gives you the error code (no description) and the option to erase.
