I give up! How do you get the gear shift knob off?
Swapping my grey boot and knob for a black set, but I cannot get the knob off!
 I can get it to turn a little using considerable force, but to no avail.  '92 BTW.

Your just gonna have to keep turning. There is glue that holds it on better co you may have to loosen it up.
