(college) class notes

Hey there, this is my first post in the Sketching forum. I've been doodling in the margins as long as i could remember during class, so i've gotten good as paying attention at the same time (or so i rationalize). Here's something i've been playing with for a bit. The top car was a bad attempt at my own design, so i abandoned it. The next two are attempts at remembering what a Carrera GT and Vanquish looked like (meh, not too bad, i guess). The last two are also made up, and none of the cars are quite finished--unfortunately, this is how most of my drawings end up

Cool sketches. The second last one is VERY creative.

Actually, the second last is a T-Rex

http://www2.artcenter.edu/carclassic...Gallery/20.jpg

Its a car designed and made by a French Canadian guy. This on in the pic is the newer version, the old one (couldn't find it) is almost exactly like the one in the drawing.

But if u did it yourself, man, u have a great talent.

I think you combined two cars - T-Rex & Porsche in one car. It's very original. I like your skethes.

Take a look at the front & you'll see Porsche's front lights & bumper. It's only my IMHO.

When i'm doodling, most of my cars are profiles. When i did a 3D car, it was almost never made-up, which is what most of my drawings are. I'm just getting back into drawing again, picking up from high school and looking for tutorials, good refs, and better materials. I'm gonna post a pic i did of a 360 Spyder so you can see some more polished stuff.
